Holiday parks in Germany

Hi,

Can someone recommend holiday parks in Germany please. I am planning a holiday with the kids (7 and 3) there and I am struggling to find a fun place to stay that is not too expensive. Any place with a playground and/or splash pool will be great.
Many thanks
Kristina

What part of Germany are you going to?

I know Centerparcs are in Germany, at least there is one in North Germany, probably quite expensive though.

Look at Landal Green Parks. We've been to Hoog Vaals and it was good.

Many thanks for this. We are aiming for Western Germany up to 7-8 hours drive from London.

Thanks again for your suggestions

Center parcs at bispinger heide. Took ds there when he was 15 months old. He's now 14!
Look at rompoort, it's a Dutch firm with holiday homes. We used them a few times when we lived in Germany and Austria. Cheaper than center parcs.

Second Bispringe Heide been several times and love it, also been to a fab holiday park called Sudsee which is near to that centre parc. Loads to see and do in that area as well , excellent theme park called Heide park far better than Alton Towers also dab park for smaller children called Sergentti Safari park.

We did Landal at Easter for a week (Eifel Tor park) about 4.5 hrs from Eurotunnel. It was £200 for all 4 of us for a week... brand new park, 2 pools, cycling, canoeing, lakeside walks, trips to Cologne, Monschau etc. Brilliant holiday.

Is great, my kids loved it when they were that age.

Centreparcs in Belgium and Holland are much nearer London than
Bispinger Heide (and cheaper) but obviously not in Germany.

We stayed at Landal Sonnenberg once. Really nice surroundings/handy for the Moselle valley and Trier. There is an indoor pool and huge play area. 5 mins down the road there is a big outdoor pool complex with water slides.

Playmobil Funpark is fabulous and not too expensive. Lots of do even if it pours with rain. We planned one day there and went for two. DD could have easily gone for another day.
