Do babies get sea sick?

We'll be getting the ferry to France with a 3 month old baby in September and wondering what to do if he is sea sick?

I don't think they do. We went on the ferry over to Lewis when ds1 was about 6 months old, he was perfectly fine, dh and I had to take it in turns to barf/get fresh air/look after ds1. It was so bad that at one point when dh was in the "fresh air" phase and I was under cover with ds1, the lady sitting across from me asked if she could take him while I ran to the loo... I am ashamed to admit I thrust my helpless infant into the arms of a total stranger and ran! Blush (She had about half a dozen kids around her, and was hardly likely to vanish off the boat, but still...)

However, after ds1 turned about three yo, he was the worst child ever for travel sickness; he'd turn green after 100 yds in the car! (All in his head of course, most infuriating.)

Have a lovely holiday. :)
