I am a fairly regular poster on MN and just wondered if you would mind giving me some feedback on this website . The idea is to try to make finding places for kids near you easier with maps / ratings / comments etc. Please note that a huge list of soft play areas should be added in the next week or so.
Any user can add a place for free - the main idea is for parents/carers to share their views on places.

i think it is a good idea; tried my postcode and only got some nurseries / schools though.

I also think its a good idea but like shazronnie when I put in my postcode I only got schools/nurseries. But it would be great if you could get a comprehensive list of what to do in a area.

Ditto in that only got schools/nurseries. Think once you have all the other data in it will be a great idea, just what I am always looking for and never find!!

I put my postcode in and only got the country park that is just across the road from me. I know there are more things nearby but it didnt show them.
I think it is a good idea though, would be very handy especially during the long summer holidays.

Thanks everyone for looking
It is still early days. The idea is that you (the user) add places you think are good near you, even if it is just one or two. Alternatively, you can just add your comment about any school/nursery/place that shows up that you know about.
It is a community website so the idea behind it is that we as parents share information with one another. As you will appreciate the UK is rather large so whilst I have added many places I probably won't be able to cover them all, simply because I won't know about everything.
Thanks again.
