Lapland holidays

I was thinking of going on holiday to Lapland this christmas - has anyone taken their family there before? Was it a magical holiday like the brochure says????

Watching with interest and hoping for a YES! as i've booked for a day trip this Christmas. We're doing christmas present/christmas past here - this is the tour operator that was recommended to me.

Did a 5 day trip and loved it though v expensive - have posted before. Depends on the ages of your children - we'll go again but not before no. 4 is nearly 4 next year. We would also travel independently next time to Levi with Finnair and organise our own activities - our trip to Lapland is the only package trip I remember and we could do it cheaper and better (also no vile gala meal). But maybe that's just us.
