Haven't been but used to live in Devon and Crealy is meant to be great. Not sure for those ages though.

Which one are you going to? The cornwall one is really good for children of all ages, rain or shine and you can get issued with a free 10 day return ticket so if you are like us can go back lots of times which makes the cost seem worth paying out for. The only problem we found was the food was quite expensive so take a picnic, loads of places to picnic. Also worth doing is to get some 20p fish food. While my daughter was feeding the lovely koi carp a huge huge carp appeared from the depths of nowhere and raised its head right out of the water, frightened the life out of me much to everyones amusement! but some people where hand feeding it yuck!!! Have fun, lots to do. Where are you staying?

I haven't been to Crealy for ages - but my 2 were 10 & 8 when we did & were rather bored.(this wasthe Devon one) But this was 8 years ago, so things might have changed.

We went about a month ago to the Devon one, with DD aged 7 and DS aged 2. They both had a really really great day, as did DH and I. The animal part is nice, look out for meet the animals times, mine held rabbits, stroked ferretts, groomed ponies etc, rides are fun with good areas for tinies, including big sandpit.

Food is very expensive, so take a packed lunch!

thx. we're doing the devon one.

so, its a packed lunch and probably changes of clothes for the water thingy.

any other tips?

We've been to Crealy & Woodlands in Devon. Both were well enjoyed - this was a few years ago so both merge into one now! I would recommend taking your own food. LO loved them as she could go on most of the things.

We found Woodlands much more fun than Crealy - we went there every year for about 8 years (my dad lives nearby), but 3 & 1 are a bit young - it does have stuff for this age but not sure it would be enough for a whole day. Children under 92cms are fre but adults are £9.95 each

somersetmum · 02/09/2006 21:48

We've been to both. The Devon one is very close to my parents house, so frequent it a lot. We visited the Cornwall one this year on our hols.
They're both great, but the Devon one (being the original) is a lot bigger with more to do. There's a log flume at both, but Devon has a rollercoaster too.
Food tip: the food in the Restaurant (as opposed to the burger bars) is very good and good value for money.
Tickets: buy them online to save £1 on each ticket.
Hope you have a great time.
