Passport

Hi all
In need of help, I applied for my daughters first passport at the end of April.

Still haven't received her passport. I have called a number of times and been fobbed of with the same rubbish excuses.

Finally yesterday someone from the Durham office called me and offered me an upgrade and said someone would contact me back yesterday or today regarding a payment.

Still haven't heard from anyone really don't know what to do going out of my mind with worry as I travel on Wednesday morning.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This probably won't help, but it has been in the press today that there are big delays. Try and get them now, but if you can't get through, call them first thing on Tuesday, and pay for the 4 hour turnaround, otherwise you won't get it for Wednesday. I presume that will mean a trip to Durham to collect.

What a pain!

Sorry to hear this. I can't help I'm afraid, but am in the exact same boat (although I have a couple more days to play with). I've been unable to elicit a call back from the passport office in spite of 10-12 calls per day every day since Monday. So you're one better than me!
