Is it best to book direct or through a travel agent?

Going to start phoning tomorrow to see what is available for July hopefully! Anyone used Iglu Cruises, spoke to them this morning and they seemed very nice although couldn`t find me anything within my budget :(

I got a price direct from the cruise line and then compared that to travel agents. Iglu came in more expensive for the cruise we were looking at.

We ended up booking through cruisedeals.co.uk. I got a quote through their website which was the same price as the cruise line but also gave me money to spend on board. They emailed me back the next day with a cheaper price than the initial quote and still gave us credit on board. They phoned me and were really helpful.

Liverpoolcruiseclub also came in at a similar price. They were the cheapest 2 I found and had some good deals for this summer.worth giving them both a go and see what they can offer.

Booked to go 5 years ago (through Iglu!!) our first cruise was cancelled by the cruise line,so booked to go with another one and then had to cancel due to circumstances.
So this time is our 3rd attempt and it is not until next year Smile must admit though I am sad though and have researched it well-thanks to cruise critic. Hopefully we will finally get to go on this one.
Good luck with the search.
