CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES IN MINEHEAD / BLUE ANCHOR / WATCHET AREA

We are thinking of buying a static caravan as a holiday home to be used most weekends (and until DS starts school as often as possible throughout the season).
Due to the frequency we would want to use it we have narrowed it down to this region as it is a two hour drive away.
We are looking for a small to medium family run site by the sea that does not allow subletting. It appears to be the bigger holiday sites that have a website, so I am not finding much although I am sure there are many.
A pool would be nice but not essential.
Can anybody recommend anywhere?

The only caravan park I know of in blue anchor is the Hobourne site and the only things around the site that I remember is a pub at one end and a station at the other and the sand is mainly mud however it does have a pool and a small shop on site.

A bit disappointed as the pictures on the internet of the beaches look ok
I know there are nicer beaches further south but then the further distance will make it more difficult to get away at the weekend.
