Make up in hand luggage help

Hi, I'm travelling with hand luggage only soon and the rules are confusing me.

If my foundation is in its original bottle (less than 100ml) can I take it as it is or do I need to put some in a clear plastic bottle?

Same for moisturiser etc?

Does it all need to be in clear plastic?

What about mascara and lipgloss that I can't decant?

Tia

no they dont need to be in clear plastic bottles, it is the bag that needs to be clear. As long as each bottle/item is under 100mls in size just put it in the clear plastic resealable bag (20cmx20cm).

Thanks ilove, that's the link I looked at. My tired brain couldn't work out if they were talking about the bag or bottles.

Recently travelled to USA and everything in original containers in a clear zip-lock bag was fine. They should give you bag if you haven't got one.

Have fun!

not all airports give you a bag - at one people had to go and buy them from a machine. Small zippy freezer bags are about the right size

Ah yeah I've seen them, in little eggs. Going to B&Ms now to buy mini toothpaste etc. Excited!

just to confirm; rules cover liquid, gels and pastes. So all your slap is included. Each container under 100ml (does not need to be transparent), all containers in a transparent zip lock bag max 20cm x 20cm.
