Liverpool passport office!!! PROBLEMS. ALL MESSED UP.HELP

if somebody know what I could do in this situation please help!!!
at 9th of april used a check and send service to get my childs first passport. 14th of april had a text from HMPO tht they received everything. then I was still waiting for a passport to arrive and for all supporting doc. to be sent back... yesterday received a letter from Liverpool PO saying that they cant process my application,because I havent enclosed me,my partner passports with application form... but I DID and everything were checked in post office, sent out in special delivery to them and got a txt saying they received everything/// Tried to contact advice line,explained everything( 3 times) waiting for call back. nothing... I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED AND IN TEARS. dont know what to do and how to get direct to Liverpool office....want to make a complaints and go further with this as they unfortinatily has lost my and my partner orginal passports+ all other supporting documents and we got flights booked for july and august and if they lost them we will loose money for flights and for new passports also... unbelivable. no responibility...

Wow that's terrible. Can I ask though why you sent your passports off? I've never done this even when I applied for my kids first passports...you just add passport numbers to the form? I'm guessing it's because you are not married but we weren't either when I applied for my first and I just sent form, marriage cert and birth cert?

Either way a terrible situation:( have you tried any of the liverpool numbers on the other threads?

Firstly, you need to calm down.

There is some sort of misunderstanding here. The actual passports are not required.

So they shouldn't have been included when you did check and send (check - do you have a partner who might have taken them out at the Post Office and not told you?)

And the Passport Office won't have been asking for originals. But perhaps a number was illegible and they need you to send the number again?

I never put my passport in for DD?? The form asked for my passport number???

Breathe. It will be fine. Are you saying you posted them your passports? And now they've lost them? Even if that's the case you can cancel them and reorder them in time.

they asked for orginal passports as my case is a bit different- we both are latvians and got latvian passports, but as we live and work here more then 5 years(almost 9) and baby is born here we wanted her to be british...

Did you get it sorted? I am going through a similar thing since April 2014 up till now!!! kid still ain't got a passport and its nearly 12 mths later!!!
