Right.. I applied for my sons first passport on the 28th april through check and send. The post office said it would be back in 3 weeks. Happy days I thought so I booked a holiday for the 28th may.
I have waited until it was 3 weeks yesterday and then phones the passport office. I got told it was being examined at liverpool and I need to wait 48 hours for a call back!!
I got a number off mumsnet for Liverpool office so rang that and spoke to a lovely lady who said she will put a request in for an upgrade and I will get a call within 24 hours.
I just received a call from another office saying she will put an upgrade request in but it takes 48 hours to upgrade!
I fly on wednesday and it is bank hol monday... I am really panicking now.
Does anyone know what the likelihood of me getting it is?
