Holiday kids club...morning or afternoons better?

We are off to a lovely hotel for ten days in June. There is a brilliant kids club by all accounts, so thought we would book a couple of sessions, to allow us to kick back and relax for a couple of hours.

They are in two three hour slots, 10-1pm or 3-6pm.

I have a 15month old and a 3.5 yr old. The younger naps 12.30-2.30, but hoping to make that more like 1.30 to 3 on holiday.

I have no experience of kids clubs. If you do, do you get the most out of your time 'off' if morning or afternoon?

Thanks

personally I would opt for the afternoon. your younger one will be freshly woken up and get more out of it.
Also it could be hotter in the afternoon and they often do inside/shady stuff for that age group while you can still enjoy the sun.
I think you and partner would get more out of the free afternoons - coffee, drinks, or whatever takes your fancy.
I would also use the time just before you pick them up to get ready or part ready for the evening-shower/hair etc.
kids clubs are brill imo.

we have never made ours go to them, they always can't wait to join in. even now they're 12 and 14, as we like to go on cruises and kids clubs go up to 17.

I meant four afternoons and one morning!

I was going to go with the opposite. my 2yo and 8mo were so knackered from playing by the pool in the mornings (a few weeks ago when we were on hols) they slept all afternoon.

I admit I've never used them and mine are 8&6 but I've always thought they were aimed at older kids who start getting bored with their parents all day Blush I'd go for mornings though at that age as I agree heat will knacker them by pm.
