Recommendations for car hire in Orlando?

Hi, planning to go next Easter (will be back with lots more questions!) but any companies you would recommend for car hire? We will be looking for a people carrier type car with sat nav. Looking to pick up and drop off at the airport.

Thanks

the best deals are usually to book the car hire in with your flight

I did it through Rentalcars.com. You put your requirements in, where you want to pick and drop off etc and it searches all the car hire companies at the airport and gives you the best deal. You can get deals with sat nav included (a must in my opinion, wouldn't like to have been without it) or pay a daily charge. It was all relatively painless using the above site.

Alamo are good. We usually book over here online and then collect car at airport. May be better for you to book with flight.

We booked with our fight with BA the hire was with Avis, no complaints. The pick up and drop off at Orlando is really easy.

Have you booked yet? Quidco are offering 6% cashback if car and flights booked together - so possibly a couple of hundred pounds off - almost the cost of the car hire :-)

The New - have booke flights already and will see what they can offer for car hire, but the April 2015 car booking aren't open on their system yet (or something!)

Also it's cheaper to buy a satnav out there than to rent one for a fortnight.

Another vote for Alamo, used them seven or eight times, never had a problem. Also, if you're flying Virgin you get air miles with Alamo.
