Durham passport office number?

Hi we go on holiday on Friday and my daughters passport still hasn't arrived, I've been trying since last week to speak to someone on the 0300 number and they have said her passport is at Durham but we don't know what stage as we can't get put through to
Durham they never call back when they say are going to and haven't answered any emails.. We are prepared to go and collect the passport in person too or pay to get it upgraded and fast tracked.. But just can't get to talk to any one in Durham.. How can I tell my 9
Year old we can't go on holiday.. Can anyone help???

IGNORE THE BIT WHERE IT SAYS THAT THE NUMBER IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO RECEIVED A LETTER KEEP HOLDING AND YOU WILL GET TO TALK TO THEM !

That's their direct number. The 0300 advice line is seeming to be useless and you get better information by calling direct

How long ago did you send application? Just asking because I sent my daughters nearly 3 weeks ago and want to travel in June

Call Durham now and ask for an upgrade if it hasn't already been sent to print

My friend had this problem last week. She turned up at Glasgow passport office and they contacted Durham for her and upgraded the application and her husband collected it. Good luck!

I'm waiting to... all I keep being told is it's with the inspector. I'm due to fly out on the 3 june, they really are useless.
Does anybody know a different number for durham because I can't seem to get thorough to it and I've been ringing several times daily.
