How packed is the Natural History Museum at the moment?

We are going to London tomorrow and ds is really keen to revisit the dinosaurs.
Is it really heaving at the moment and will I hate it (bearing in mind I am 24 weeks pg)? I already know dd isn't going to enjoy it much but ds is so desperate to go.

We went 2 weeks ago and it was packed.

But it was a Sunday and it was raining. A weekday should be less crowded I think. Agree get there as early as poss though.

ok - thanks for that. Will head there asap!

We went on Bank Holiday Monday. Arrived at 11. Queued for 10 mins to get in (security check). Went straight round to the dinosaur bit (in the door, turn left) - the queue there later was massive. Well worth it though, such a great place.

We went 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday - there were huge queues to get in as they were searching bags. If you go around to the side entrance opposite the V&A it is much better - we went out at lunchtime and came back that way. The dinosaurs were heaving - I'd try to get there when it opens at 10 if I were you

DH braved it last friday and it was fine (he won't queue for anything!) but a friend went last Wednesday and it was heaving.

We got there at 10.45 and walked straight in the main entrance. The dinosaurs were very empty compared to what we've seen in the past. When we came out a bit after 12 the queue was wrapped round the building!
Thanks for your advice. Am currently sitting here eating a Krispy Kreme doughnut left over from yesterday.
