Where to go for New Years Eve - Help!

Me and dp always go away for New Years Eve for 3 - 4 days.
We are stuck for where to go this year - been to Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Berlin, Venice over the past few years, but really stuck this year.
Ideally we'd like it not too cold - had considered Canary Islands, but cant seem to book just for 4 days, and due to dp's work commitments cant do a week, so can anybody suggest anywhereelse?

Also it has to be somewhere where its good to celebrate new years eve.

Sicily? Really? Why do you suggest that 3strikes out? Have you been or do you know about how they celebrate New Year? Sounds very nice and have always fancied going there, so could be a fab option.

Also Rome was somewhere I considered lapsedrunner - again, just not sure what its like on New Years Eve.
