we are off to butlins on monday 4 night break self catering we got a good deal on gold at £289 anyway we have 3 children 4 2 and a half and 6 months last year weather was awful so couldnt get on the beach in effect we spent a small fortune £780 maybe more we bought alot on resort like drinks snacks food and that cost us alot also very much spend on average about £70 in the week in arcade on small rides for the kids anyway this time im looking at saving some money if possible ive come up with these so any more please add to them for me :)

• buy juice snacks breakfast foods sweets from tesco off resort
• avoid arcades or set a very reasonable budget
• do as much of the free activities as possible
• evening shows take the kids juice and snacks in the clubs

any more tips ladies?

For 4 nights, it shouldn't cost very much money even if the weather is awful.

Do a tesco shop when you get there, multipacks of juice, snacks etc, lunch and dinner if you are cooking

Free activities. Go for walks, explore the area, take a packed lunch.

Keep out of the arcades

Or just go once in the time you are there and set a budget.

hi TantrumsAndBalloons thats a good tip on exploring the area and i think your right be best if we did a shop in tesco we will def save money we went in their ice cream place last time it cost us £20 for a few ice creams nothing special either :O its my birthday when we are away so one day we will go have a nice meal depending on weather can find a place to go we are going to the minehead resort :)

forgot to add this time we taking less spending money to avoid spending that much just to be safe maybe that will help havent got it cant spend it lol
