Hi, can anyone recommend any must visit bars/pubs?

Also best places to go/see during the day?

Planning on visiting the zoo and the Jameson distillery. What else?

Tia

Oh lovely.

Tourists tend to go to Temple bar but flannerys is good for a bit of an atmosphere.

Definitely do the hop on hop off bus tour.. It will bring you to all the major sights. Wax museum is so bad .. No no. All other things are good.

Grafton street for shopping (but much the same as UK)

I love Avoca.. It's a gorgeous shop - really quirky and beatiful cafe.

St Stephens green is great on a warm day in June.

Thankyou!

I live in a city and I've heard temple bar is similar to any city centre bar area?

We are quite big drinkers and work in pubs so proper Irish pubs is more our thing.

Thanks for the tips.

Well temple bar wont be for you. It's more hens etc.

Flannerys is a little but cheesy but friendly Irish people (not usually dubs but people from the country who have moved to Dublin) I've always had a good night in it. Copper face jacks is a dire nightclub - totally lively. Quite young. theres s few classier nightclubs on that street .Depends on what you want.

Whelans is where the music and that is (live bands etc)
