What is there for days out with kids round Derby (4&6)?
Friend has moved there and we will be going to visit sometime but want to combine it with a trip somewhere else .

Hi Nikkie, Theres lots to do around Derby/Derbyshire. Theres Chatsworth house which has a farm which is nice to visit. Theres several soft play centres in and around town. Theres a little farm called Happy Hens which is run on donations with some animals, and you can collect eggs!

If the weathers good theres markeaton park which has good play equipment, ducks to feed, plenty of space to run around, a paddling pool and only costs your parking!!!

Whereabouts is your friend?

I have also heard Markeaton park is supposed to be good. Elvaston Castle has lots of outside places, Sudbury Hall is a NT place which has the museum of childhood which is fun. Chatsworth Adventure Playground and Farm is excellent, Gullivers' Kingdom is supposed to be good as well.
