Rome in October

I have been lucky enough to land a free trip to Rome and we will probably be going in October so what's it like that time of year? Warm? Cold? Wet? What does one wear in Rome? We'll be visiting the colosseum, Appian Way etc.

I went in Rome last year, and I was wearing short sleeves and sandals, but the Roman women had their furs on! It was lovely and warm in the sun (at least compared to Glasgow!) but cool at night. Have a lovely time - it's a wonderful city.

All the Italian ladies will be wearing long leather boots with skinny jeans tucked in and a puffa coat.

We were in shorts and stood out a mile as tourists.

Ha ha - crosspost!

Ha ha, I'm from Glasgow too!

Puffa coats? I thought Italian women had more style!

So did I!! My Mum and I were looking forward to seeing all the stylish Italian women and were most disappointed when they all were wearing dull identikit outfits!!!
