Hi there,

we are going to Chania in Crete on Saturday (10th) and I have some questions I would love advice on please.

  1. should we take our own maxi cosy car seat for the baby? (we are hiring a car and could hire one there but not sure if we should?)
  1. we are planning on taking 2 small maclarens rather than the double buggie or the buggaboo bee - which the car seat could attach to. what do you think?
  1. hoping to spend loads of time swimming and at beaches. think weather is not good enough though? feeling VERY nervous & sad about this :( should i be packing fleeces and rain coats?
  1. Should we take walking boots? and baby back pack? Are there lots of walks and hikes that we would miss out on if we didn't have these things?

Thanks in advance..

:)

I doubt you'll be doing the Samarian gorge with two small children. :-)

forecast looks to be rain on your first day and then lovely! Remember sunsuits and loads of sunscreen.

1: yes if you can manage it, I would.
2: small maclarens. You need something light and easily manoeuravble.
3: take a fleece and light cagoule each, don't take too much. They wash easily after all.

  1. do you want to do walking? Unless you particularly do, trainers should be fine for gentle walks and exploring. But if you do go walking, even gentle walks, you'll need the baby backpack.
