Barcelona with preschoolers - what to see/do?

Have just booked our first holiday as a family to go to Barcelona for a week this September. The dds will be 3 and 1. What are the things we shouldn't miss?

I've been to Barcelona before many years ago, so I have the beach and the montjuic cable car on my list, but I'm sure there must be more to entertain preschoolers.

I think they might like the Sagreda Familiar - loads of kooky details and spiral staircases. There's a good aquarium too. Park Guell with big mosaic lizard sculptures?

Thanks, I'd completely forgotten Sagreda Familia and Parc Guell, they'd both be great! I'll check out the aquarium too.

Have you had a look on this site:

We're going in the summer and I got a few ideas from here.

there are small playgrounds on two sides of the sagrada familia so they should can have a little break there too. If you walk down from the cable car in monjuic, there are a few play areas for the children.

Definitely Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell

The Science Museum, cosmoCaixa is very good and very interactive. Lots of buttons to press, also cheap, about 5 euros per adult and free for kids.
