Can anybody suggest the best time to book holidays for next year (Easter/Summer)?
I can usually take advantage of the off-peak deals but DS1 is starting school next month so that will probably have to end (without starting a debate ).
So, are you an early, late or last minute booker? Any advice welcome please.

I'm a teacher so have to book for the hols. We always try to get in early. Take advantage of the free child places. I'm a little fussy too and like to make sure I'm getting exactly what I want. I would be a bit panicy with a last minute thing. We booked next years hol before we went on this years!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are back to school holidays again now as DD starts school (had 2 years off as I left teaching) so will be baxck to booking well before Chrstmas. Planning on Soputh of France next summer, and we are planning on booking the villa in September. Will book the flights as soon as we see a good deal come up - not too concerned about that.

We normally book before Christmas.

We like to book in Nov for the next summer. If it gets to Christmas we know we won't get our first choice. For easter hols we usually book about a year in advance. Dh is brilliant at booking hols and ensuring we go away NO MATTER WHAT! (Wish he was as organised and competent in the rest of his life!!)

Thanks. I thought I was being panicky when I started looking at a couple of holdiay web-sites, but apparently not.
