They might as well advertise "We don't care about security - but at least your plane will take off!"

They are suing the Government (£3.5 million?) for compensation over cancellations etc. with the heightened security measures.

californifrau: they're taking the uk government to court for 3.3 million compensation for the additional security that's in place now. but just seeing that man's face on telly winds me up really.

Think BA had said they were considering taking BAA to court over this too.

but that's baa. i don't think that's the same is it? presumably they're moaning about baa's implementation of the measures, where ryanair are whinging about the measures themselves.

No idea really. Just read it and thought it sounded a bit mean considering the reasons behind the security measures.
