Mine is Glencoe and surrounding area in the Highlands of Scotland. It is the opposite of where I live in London. It is peaceful, tranquil, has majestic scenery and no air pollution and above all it is QUIET.

Love love love Cornwall. But I live in North Yorkshire and I do love the moors and dales. Think my favourite place and spiritual home might be Robin Hood's Bay, near Whitby. Stunning little smuggling/fishing village clinging perilously to the cliffs, with an eclectic bunch of residents. On the village notice board you have everything from scout jumble sales to the Amythyst Circle Shamanic Drumming and healing workshops And outstanding fish and chips!

OMG Putsborough Sands, what a blast from the past. Spent the summer of 1976 there. Great memories.

As for fave place, difficult to choose.
Still love London (its home), but also Rannoch in Scotland and Bamburgh beach in Northumberland.

The Pilot in Mumbles
Pwll Ddu beach (or Brandy Cove at a push)
Arthur's Stone on Cefn Bryn (where she said 'yes')

Means nothing to you - then you should visit Gower

sancerre · 26/08/2006 22:17
