I've a few questions if anyone can help? Decided 2015 is THE year we will go. It has to be the California one as that's where Cars Land is Smile Ok, does anyone know...

  1. What's the cheapest time of year to go?
  2. Is it easy to go independent or better through a travel agency? Is there a UK agency we could use? (I've only found Paris/Orlando Confused
  1. Is there much else to do once the park has been exhausted?
  2. Any other tips or nuggets of info?

Much obliged Grin

Fares tend to be more expensive at more "popular" times of the year i.e Christmas and July/August.

How old are your children; I ask only as some of the rides at Disneyland California (which is also next to Disneyland itself) have height restrictions.

Disneyland is in the city of Anaheim so I would stay there; there are plenty of hotels situated near the parks. How long would you want to stay there for?.

I would consider booking the flights and accommodation separately.

When you ask if there is much else to do once park is exhausted what do you mean, in Anaheim area or California? There is loads to do in California, you will need a car. We drove from San Francisco to LA then Laguna Beach.

Thanks all Thanks

I mean in the local area or, a manageable (with a 7 year old, would that be ok height wise you think? He's an average 7 year old height) coach trip.

We'd probably be there 7 days so was thinking 3 days at the Park and 4 mooching Grin

You MUST have a car, public transport is a joke and everything is so far apart
I would book own accomodation and spend the 4 days on the beach in a different hotel
