Just that really - heading over in a few weeks with DD, 16 mo. We're spending a few days in Orlando, then driving to Naples for beach time.

I'm wondering where the best outlet malls are? Orlando, near Naples, or on the drive down? Shopping is high on my priority list when we holiday in the US!

Also, does anyone have any fun activities that might keep DD occupied for a bit Grin!

Orlando is definitely best for shopping - retailers know that where lots of people congregate, lots of spending follows! I like the Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia, but they're both full price malls. There are plenty of big outlets as well, I think there are 2 premium outlet malls.

On the drive down, if you take I-75, you'll pass Ellenton outlet. We stayed near here over Easter, and it was a good outlet, BUT we didn't visit Orlando at all, so it was the best we could get IYSWIM? Nearer Naples is the Miromar outlet mall which is also very good.

Overall, you're covered!

Haven't taken either child at that age (8 months and 2.8 months, yes!), but when younger they did struggle with the heat, so make sure there's plenty of pool time, lots of sun protection, and lots of AC. Mine slept more there when younger too.

Ah thanks for that! We'll try to get to the outlets in Orlando then, I think there is a premium one there; and have the Miromar as a back up when we're in Naples Grin

Fingers crossed for more sleep!
