One Mum one 16yr old son

We have our first opportunity for a holiday abroad. Any ideas for a Mum to relax and a son to be "cool" and active. Beach nearby preferably

Went to Mallorca when was 16 (with other siblings) but they had organised evening events every night, spent the day aroung the pool and eating and drinking in the hotel...we also went off to local nightclubs "Menta" without mother and we had one hell of a time...chances are if you pick a lively hotel, hang aroung the pool your son will meet other teens in same boat and they might suggest a nightclub...btw it was in a place called "Alcudia" north east and a little quieter than Magaluf, and Jupiter Hotel and another time Bahia de Alcudia...lots of families and young groups of young people on own without parents....don't know who we booked it through but really good...good luck

btw plonkj, would you mind ds going off to nightclub with people his own age that he'd just met? sorry forgot to mention this.
