Hello, we've been hopeless at booking much more than the flights....L.O.'s passport took so long to come through I was beginning to think we wouldn't make it at all so couldn't face more painful organisation but it then suddenly turned up despite the stupid Passport Office telling me it was still in examination...ANYWAY we have 2 weeks from 3rd May, I've booked 4 nights at Domes of Elounda right at the end of the holiday, but would be very grateful for recommendations of where else is baby friendly. Specifically any recommendations for Heraklion (including possibly staying outside the town and travelling in for the museum etc) and then somewhere to base ourselves for a week or so to relax but hopefully also use as a base for interesting day trips...self-catering, B&B and small hotels would all be great. We won't have a travel cot so somewhere that can provide that would be great; we are intending to hire a car (if I ever get round to it) so remote would be ok. As would a pretty village!
