Hi,

We stayed there a couple of years ago. We rented an apartment through owners direct which was on Calle Atalayones (sp?).

The only drawback we found was that it is a bit of a hen/stag destination for the Spanish and there were some rowdy parts. This seemed to centre on the campsite, which you should be able to see on Google maps, so I'd avoid that area. Where we stayed was fine, and had good access to beach, bars etc.

If you need to avoid uphill, stay as close to the front as possible, as it is backed by mountains. From what I remember practically everything was built in a strip along the front, but there were some apartment buildings set slightly further back that would be on very steep hills.

Triplets

We holidayed there last Summer we stayed in a townhouse villa on the Pueblo Diana development. It was a lovely spot on the playa. No hills to climb as it's front lying with good views (the property we were in anyway). Nice restaurants directly opposite and bus stop too. Lovely walks up and down the playa, if you take a right from Pueblo Diana you can walk towards some of the hotels and more restaurants. We didn't find it rowdy or overly busy (were there end of July beginning of August). We caught the bus a few times to the markets held in different towns through the week and found it easy to get around. Kids loved the waterpark - we bussed it their too. We would go back.
