Hotel - sneaking an extra child in

Impossible to find rooms for 5 but lots of rooms for 4 (grrr), so would you sneak an extra child in (5yr old) or cough up and pay for 2 rooms?

We have snuck the 3rd child into premier inn etc

Like others have said I would be happy to pay for an extra bed

Even if we did have two rooms all the children would still be in with us. We would have two rooms, one empty and the other with 5 people in...in case of fire

Would not dream of doing this in a B and B or non chain hotel...but I do find those places much more helpful when fitting 5 in a room

We have done it loads of Times, our little ones always slept in bed with us anyway or the younger two would top and tail in a single bed, ime travel lodge etc are fine if you call and talk to them and explain.

But then we went to the zoo the other day, we paid for two adults and four kids but put dd aged three in the pushchair to go in and pretended she wasn't yet three so she was free. So clearly I have no morals Grin

once you get past 2 kids i find all your moral fibre disappears

We have always snuck the extra child in to a travelodge - she is only 3, so so far it has been easy.

Last year we stayed at a Crowne Plaza hotel when we went to Legoland and they were fine with having three children in the room and added an extra bed in.

Also, I was looking at travelodge site last year and I'm sure it said something about rooms to accommodate 5 or more would be coming soon to some places.

Jasmine :) Fraud?! wow I also didn't realise I was such a heavyweight in the criminal stakes (but not eligible for CB for all the many 3 children I irresponsibly had, drat).

My BIL is here who is a firefighter and I've just asked him, if he was called to a fire at a travelodge/premier Inn type place, would he stop searching a room for people to rescue once he'd found 2 adults and 2 children? He said: "Don't be stupid, you clear a room of however many people happen to be in it in, same with a car"

You rebel forago !
