Mainland Greece -Villa

We've been going to the southern peloponnese for the past seven years, and DH has said he'd like to see more of mainland greece. We fly into Athens so anywhere is accessible. We stay in villas either with a pool or walking distance to the sea, and we travel with our dcs 6&4. Give me your recommendations please.

Personally I loved Pelion but it would be a fair drive from Athens and it's fairly quiet except in July/August but since one of your children is 6 guess you'd go school hols anyway. Another great place is Parga but it would be much too far from Athens. I'm assuming you've already booked your flights as you'd need to fly into Preveza for Parga (worth bearing in mind for another year)
