Best cinema to take kids to in the West End?

Any suggestions for the best cinema to take the kids to in Central London?

Depends what you want to see.
There are 4 in Leicester Square, several in the streets around there plus others scattered all over. It all depends what is on where and at what time.
We live in the West end and often would just walk up to one of the ones at Leicester Square but might go to Odeon at Whiteleys or Marble arch. Often an Odeon is preferable as we have an Odeon card so frequently get a free ticket which influences things....

Depends of course on what you mean by 'the best'.
A friend (who doesn't live in London, but was visiting) nearly had heart failure at being charged £18 to go to the pictures in Leicester Square - his idea of 'the best' is our local screen where is it "only" about £5.95

It's price isn't it? Leicester square is very expensive. Whiteleys is good because it isn't all that busy during the day and there are plenty of eateries/coffee shops in the shopping centre and its a spit from Kensington Gardens for a wander about. Popcorn and snacks are very expensive - take your own!

Are you on Orange? You get the Orange Wednesday and they have a deal on Pizza Express too (one next to the cinema in Whiteleys).

I was just thinking it's more fun to take them into London instead of going to the local cinema in the shopping centre
