European city break - cheap cities!

We were looking at booking a 3 night break to Paris at the very end of April. We looked at last minute.com and found some deals but have heard that it can be very expensive when you get there. Can anyone recommend a city break that is cheaper than Paris please? Im not very good at this sort of thing and it's our last chance to go away for a while as I'm 17 weeks pregnant. Thank you!

Southern Spain is very cheap, places like Granada for example you can get a free tapas with every beer, and the hotel prices are very good. If you're set on France you could stay in an ibis budget, they are very cheap and basic but clean and comfortable. Or how about Southern Italy/Sicily?

Bupapest is good value.
