Family friendly cottage for Easter

I am looking to rent a cottage from 5-12 April for myself and a friend and our children 4, 2, 2 and 6 months (glutton for punishment) I'm driving myself mad looking at websites - anyone know of anywhere central UK ish (ie not Devon or Cornwall or Scotland/Wales) that's at least three bedrooms, and isn't stupidly expensive over the holidays??

I find the best way is to google self catering accommodation and the area you want to be in. Most websites now just ask you to out the dates you want to be away into their search and it will return anything that is still available.

only know of a couple of places in Cornwall - not right down the end but on the south coast about an hour from Exeter here might have space. they usually have baby chicks at easter so might be good for the LO's. have also stayed around Porthmadog in Wales. that was really nice. lots of accommodation choice from cottages to caravans so might be worth a google. the awaywiththekids website and babyfriendlyboltholes website are a good place to try.
