Try direct-lineholidays.co.uk - friends are in Greece at the moment and got a really good late deal through them.

thanks for your help. I given up, just a pipe dream really. Next year I will book a holiday at the end of August as well just to keep me going through the long dark winter!

Ring the airport. they often have last minute deals. A friend of mine, with no children, packed her and her partners bags and went to the airport and got on a plane that day on a very last minute deal!!!
