Is it worth taking a 116cm child to Alton Towers?

there is a small kids section and of course the new charlie and the chocolate ride!

dd1 whose 1m got onto all the things in the kids section, could have gone onto the log flume, but I said no, she'd be too scared (hates sudden splash's of water) but managed to get onto the Runaway train, all not bad for a 2.7year old at the time

incidently she wasn't big enuff for the chocolate factory ride, but was ok for the flume n train!

just going to post a therd to c if its worth the travel to alton towers
it will take us about 2 hrs in car
better measure boys b4 we set off
my boys are 9 and 10 but 9 yr old is in 5-6 clothes and is small

alton towers was good even for the little ones
had a fab day even in the rain
