Family hotel in Somerset

We are going to Cornwall for our summer holidays (staying in a cottage after driving from Yorkshire) with a 5 and 2 year old. They are good travelers but we are looking for a 2 night break en route - probably somewhere around Somerset.

Ideally not a Family room as they go to bed around 7pm and the thought of having to stay quiet with them in the room isn't appealing (we did that when we had only the 1 and it drove us mad) - so somewhere with connecting rooms would be good.

The 2 days overlap our 10th anniversary so prepared to pay a little more to get somewhere nicer if necessary.

Anyone got any ideas for places?

This place is lovely with wonderful food.

Would Calcott Manor in the Cotswolds be out of your way? They have a good selection of family accommodation and it's really lovely for a special treat.
