What do you want?
Big, brash and busy?
Quiet, select and exclusive?
Hotel / AI / Villa?
I have two teenage boys and they like somewhere lively with lots of pool and other activities. All inclusive works for their need to eat constantly.

Barcelona was good with teenagers. plenty of options. things to look around in the city and lots of night life (eating outside with them etc) the beach was good lots of watersports available plus day trips out up the coast to the theme park. pm if you want to know where we stayed (3 bed apartment in brilliant location) if on a really tight budget why not wait until the last minute and take a deal from the travel agent. you wont get as much choice though.

hi we have been to Salou, La Pineda and cap Salou a lot and it's great for kids.
this year we have booked a 4* hotel half board - h10 vintage salou for last week of august in actual Salou centre near the beach as our dcs can go off a bit on their own now (12 and14). the hotel has loads for dcs to do too e.g sports, pool, gym, wifi etc all to keep the dcs happy :)
other plans we have are;
portaventura with theme park and waterpark plus another waterpark in la pineda.
for culture Taragona is a short bus ride away
Barcelona's not too far away for a day trip
4 star hotels half board are really reasonable we have paid around £1300 for flights and hotel (two rooms)
we booked with onthebeach
