Hi

We are going up to Bassenthwaite this weekend with our 5 month old son. We will take a front carrier, but can anyone suggest good pushchair walks in that area.

Many thanks
Ruth

Hi went up Catbells yest and there was a lovely tar path that led along dewentwater. If you've a off roader ie 3 wheeler Griezedale Forest has some lovely walks. Alternatively round Thirlemere there is a small road that you could use as is underlouphrigg in Ambleside. Under helm in Grasmere is suitible for push chairs. There used to be a publication for disabled/pushchair walks call in at tourist information centres ring first they have closed quite a few!! Hope this helps
