[Pufflemum]

I am planning a trip to California in August with two DC and DH. As part of it we want to rent a house for 7 days, ideally near a beach. We want somewhere quite luxurious after having been camping in Yosemite! I was thinking Santa Barbara but i cannot find a house with a pool for our dates. Can anyone recommend any other areas to look at please? We will be coming from Monteray and going on to Anaheim area for two days at theme parks at the end of the trip. Thanks in advance.

Carmel just south of Monterey is lovely. Really any house along Highway 1 will be stunning and if your lucky you might get a private access to a beach. If your looking more south Santa Monica or Santa Maria are great too. I would recommend Big Sur if you are looking for stunning beaches.
