Hi all , we are thinking of booking are weekend break, but the prices at our local travel agent, is just a bit too much.I spoke to a friend and she reomended a couple of sites eg cheap flights.com, www.compareflightshotels.com and travel republic as anyone tried them?just a bit iffy.

Not used them, but have used Booking.com and Agoda for hotels.

I have used travel republic. It was very good. Just be careful as the cheapest fight is not always the cheapest overall because of baggage charges.

Trivigo or kayak are good. You put in the city and dates you want to go, it gives lots of different hotels, and shows you the websites that are cheapest . I've used it lots of times before, it saves you trekking through all the different websites looking for the cheapest.
