whats the weather like in turkey in April?

Some websites seem to say mid twenties, others say average 16ish. Anyone been at that time of year?

Depends on the area. That sounds accurate to me, it would be definitely the lower end of that in Istanbul but the best chance of good weather would be the Antalya coast.

April can be mixed. Sometimes it can be lovely and low to mid 20s but it can also rain and be chilly. It gets very cold at night and if you are planning on swimming the pool or sea will be freezing.

Many of the resorts don't open up until 1st May either.

Yes, April is out of season for Turkey so it will be cheap.
