Tenerife hotel

Decided on Tenerife in May for last minute Babymoon before DC2. Looking for recommendation for family friendly resort with:
Kids club for +3's
Kid pool + facilities for kids
Close to restaurants but with good on site dining options
Sandy beach (not essential)
No hidden extras. (E.g sunbeds, towels, etc)

Bahia Del Duque takes DCs from 3. It's right beside a lovely beach and has facilities, but also close to lots of great restaurants, don't think you pay extra for towels etc in the hotel, but I do think you have to pay for deckchairs etc on the beach. It is however a bit £££.

Iberostar Anthelia is in a similar area, but not quite as expensive, however kids club is from 4+.

We have used Lisa www.tenerifechildcare.com/index.php?menu=home for private babysitting - DS made a wee pal and she looked after both of them whilst we all went out for lunch, worked well for everybody. I'd recommend her if you can't find the right option with kids club.

Abama is lovely

I would just avoid Carebear Nannies - the owner has a terrible attitude and temper. She let us down considerably during the Christmas period of Dec 15 and benefitted from pre paid services which she did not provide. She effectively stole over 350 euros from us. She did not show up after 3 days and did not even bother to even call us, just sending a text last minute which is shocking given her responsibility is child care. She demonstrated no care for the children and only about the cash in her pocket and taking advantage of the good will of people. She has not refunded our money to date after committing to do so in writing.
