Samsonite vs Littlelife Twin Arc Travel Cots

Hi,

I currently have the smaller version of the Samsonite pop up cot (up to 6mths/sitting up stage) and I love it! Looking to upgrade to larger cot but think I read somewhere (probably here) that the larger version isn't very stable. I want to be able to get as much use out of the cost as possible and do not want to have to upgrade again if I can avoid it. The Littlelife looks harder to put up and looks as though it needs lots of room and stabilising - is it worth the hassle?

Thanks

We have the bigger samsonite one and it's brill. We find it stable enough and have never had any problems. DD is now 15months and I think ideally it's up to 18months/2 years..??

TBH what we do is we take it away and place it in the cot (if there is one) provided. That way she still has familiar surroundings with her travel cot and dh & I feel slightly safer as some hotel cots looks about 100 years old..!

Also ideal for keeping our mosquitoes.

HTH.

Hi
We have the littlelife one and I can honestly say that it is absolutely brilliant! The first time I put it up it took me an hour and a half and I was tearing my hair out a bit, but it takes less than ten minutes now. DD is 9 months, and very happy in it, and an 18 month old has also slept comfortably in it with loads of room. It looks narrow but doesn't seem to be a problem. I love it!

Oh yes and it doesn't need stabelising, it is really solid, however, I would say that it does take up quite a bit of floor space, we had a good time shifting it around a small hotel room on holiday this year, apart from that though, I can't fault it!
