no experience sorry BUT I am sure someone posted recently that for plane travel it's very useful as it protects the pram esp given the price of the pram..!!

my friend has one and used it a couple of times. but now she takes her maclaren instead - think the bugaboo is too much hassle for holidys (weight, size..)

I have one and have used 3 times & it's been great. if travelling with the bugaboo then would recommend. they are pricey though - and i got mine second hand on ebay. most are being sold either never or one used only. I was v pleased to have taken bugaboo with me but depends where you're going maybe.

The trouble with taking the Bugaboo and travel bag is you end up having to check it in with your luggage, then you have to CARRY huge toddler/baby along with you plus all your hand luggage all the way down miles and miles and miles of corridors (Some Gates are a twenty minute walk away from Check In!) Whereas all the folks who brought Maclarens with them push their LO's all the way to the airplane then just fold them up and hand them to the steward when they get there.
This happened to us with our particular hefty toddler
