Family hotel and/or villas with kids club and a skip-and-a-jump to a sandy beach!

I am trying to work out where we should go this year and for us the the key factors are:

Restaurants on site or some half-board options
A soft sandy beach very close by
High quality childcare
Sunshine, but not insanely hot

We had a fantastic time at Martinhal last year, so the stakes are high! Unfortunately my husband does not fancy going back as he thinks that we got lucky with calm weather and we will inevitably be blown away next time. Unfortunately porto Sani is out due to the wasps!

We can go outside main season (for the last time!).

What would you recommend?

Crete often has a bit more of a breeze to take the edge of the heat. Porto Elounda is very nice, with its own sandy beach, and good kids club etc.
