Anyone stayed at a cheapish hotel near St Mark's Square?

My sis is going the week before Easter and I said I'd ask!

It was about £60 per night, a room for 3. It was lovely.

I discovered a great travel website www.expedia.co.uk. If you click on the 'guide' tab and do a search on venice it will give you a list of hotels ranging from two star to five star. At bottom of screen you can click on places to visit, restaurants, things to do etc. Very informative. Hope this is of some help

Can't be specific as can't remember the name of the hotel I stayed in but just want to say that as Venice is quite small, most hotels are within walking distance of St Marks.
