Forced three-week holiday with 4, 2 and 5 mth old - help!

Help - we need to vacate our house for three weeks in March due to building work and need somewhere to go with three energetic boys aged 4, 2 and a baby of 5 months.

Any suggestions both in the UK and abroad that won't break the bank - be even better if there was some childcare available (kids club etc). Anyone got any idea what we could do? Happily drive to Europe, any cruises? Farmhouses, centre parks? Canary Islands - the two year old will be a nightmare on the plane, and having three means we would want to avoid driving everywhere if possible!

Where should we go? Also we'll never get this amount of time off together again (for a long time) so should we have a bit of an adventure??

I would rent a villa some where like Javea or Moraira. The weather will be ok by March and you can have lots of cheap days out.

An adventure sounds lovely but not easy to organise with a 5 month old.

If it is building work do you have to/want to be around in the UK whilst they are doing it to keep an eye or is it not that sort of thing that you are having done. would pick somewhere near and warm personally. what about some of the ai places in Tenerife. can you avoid school easter hols at the end of March to make it cheaper?
