I'm thinking an Italian palazzo or a mountain-top retreat. Fantastic interiors very individual in style. Completely escapist stuff. Am imagining the kids are being looked after by a marvellous Nanny for a couple of days so this is an adult-only affair. As you might be able to tell from my name this is pure fantasy for now but a girl can dream can't she?!

Yes, ice hotels have appealed in the past, particularly if they are in Iceland and complete with a Northern Lights show and ice cold vodka!

I've stayed at the Ice Hotel in Sweden. Was fabulous!

this place in Tuscany is amazing, or for something more city based then I cannot recommend here in Istanbul highly enough.
